Join us for a family friendly event to get acquainted and meet up with old friends. Guests will enjoy a memorable evening with peers and other delegates over good food, fine wine, entertainment, and children’s activities.

The Student/Resident Social is an opportunity for residents and students with an interest in rural medicine to mix & mingle. Light appetizers will be provided, with drinks sponsored by the SRPC and The Review Course in Family Medicine. The event will be an informal social with several board games available to attendees to mix, mingle, & play! 


East vs. West: Off-Site Hockey (8:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.)

Location: Service des loisirs, des sports et de la vie Communautaire, 330, rue Chabot, Québec (Québec) G1M 3J5

Join us for a fun, off-site friendly game of shinny! Players can gather at 8 p.m. and take to the ice from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Please remember to bring your skates, helmet, gloves, and any other safety gear (shoulder pads, elbow pads, and shin pads are recommended but not required). We will provide sticks, jerseys, and pucks. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy some time on the ice! Carpooling and taxi options are available.

All medical students, residents and staff physicians are welcome to join us for our mentorship event! This is an opportunity to connect and discuss with colleagues across the country. It is conveniently held directly after the rural residency fair. If you are planning to attend, please click “yes” on our registration form (although we are still happy to have you if you forget).
