These courses are scheduled either before or after the main conference, allowing you to maximize your time with us. Prairie POCUS is Canada’s largest ultrasound training center and we aim to improve patient care by enhancing the clinical ultrasound skills of participants. We offer a large range of courses spanning beginners to advanced ultrasounds ninjas.


This ATLS course is exclusive to members attending the Society of Rural Physicians of 32nd Annual Rural & Remote Medicine Conference. All course attendees must complete all American College of Surgeons (ACS) online self-directed learning modules and practices exam prior to Day-1 of the course. CASTED: Plastics is an advanced laceration repair and hand injury course. Be better with various suture techniques, understanding relevant hand anatomy, diagnosing tendon injuries, repairing extensor tendons, proper immobilization, and complex laceration repairs (including Vermillion border, nailbed, pinna, etc. )

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
