Our 2026 co-chairs are Dr. Michelle Lajzerowicz and Dr. Nicholas Potvin. The SRPC Rural & Remote Planning Committee is responsible for organizing the dynamic and ever-growing Rural & Remote Medicine Conference. This year, the conference will take place in Quebec City, known for its charming cobblestone streets, vibrant French-speaking culture, and iconic Château Frontenac. With over 1,000 participants, it is one of Canada’s largest rural medicine gatherings. Known for its outstanding peer-to-peer learning and hands-on workshops, it is also one of the few conferences that does not accept funding from pharmaceutical companies.
