(Don&#8217;t Pay)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a0558399a4b0aaae5d724cc97f467b74\" style=\"color:#0e3556\">How will I know if I was selected?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At the end of January, you will receive an email from the SRPC indicating if you were randomly selected (or not selected) to receive funding with instructions and additional details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All learners must pay their conference fee by&nbsp;March 1st 2025.&nbsp;If a learner was randomly chosen to receive funding but has not paid their registration fee by this date, the funding will be given to another learner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors for making this initiative possible, further enhancing access to rural medicine education in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"background-color:#08b7b2;color:#08b7b2\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1c0e7bad4c8ba3e6d036d0be12cf6829\" style=\"color:#0e3556\">Funding for eligible BC Rural Physicians to attend Rural &amp; Remote Conference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC) is pleased to announce funding for <strong>eligible BC rural physicians<\/strong>\u00a0to participate in-person at the\u00a032nd Annual Rural and Remote Medicine Conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JSC will provide eligible BC&nbsp;rural physicians with a $1000 stipend to offset expenses to participate at the event in-person. To be eligible to receive funding, physicians must reside and practice in an eligible RSA community for at least nine months per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ruralprograms@doctorsofbc.ca\">ruralprograms@doctorsofbc.ca<\/a>&nbsp;to confirm your eligibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"background-color:#08b7b2;color:#08b7b2\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">If you\u2019re a medical school or an individual physician interested in supporting learners, we\u2019d love to connect!
